Welcome to " Pays du Val de Salm et des Sources de l'Ourthe "

"Le Pays du Val de Salm et des Sources de l'Ourthe" is situated in the heart of the Ardennes at a height of 450 m. The highest point is Baraque de Fraiture in the district of Vielsalm at a height of 652 m.

Its position in the north of the Province Luxembourg is attractive because Vielsalm is located near the province of Liège and near the border of Luxembourg.

Gouvy and Vielsalm are two districts where you can find a lot of villages with an important architectural and cultural inheritance. Walk maps with described and signposted paths will make you appreciate numerous unspoiled places on foot or on bike and our commune's remarkable sight seeing: beautiful castles, churches and chapels.

You can find the Tourist office of Vielsalm near the station at number 50, avenue de La Salm. It's open every day from 10 am till 6 pm except the 25th of December and the 1st of January.

The Gouvy tourist office situated "rue de la Gare", is open : on Monday from 10 am till 12 pm, from Tuesday till Friday from 10 am till 4 pm and  on Sunday from 10am till 12pm.
